The "Right" Way to Birth

Have you ever told someone about a decision you made and the response you received was, shall we say, less than supportive?  Perhaps you heard, “Well, if you ask my opinion…” or “That’s not how I would have done it.”  Maybe you even got an incredulous look, jaw drop, or eye rolls.

That is bad enough with minor issues or decisions, but when it comes to something like your pregnancy, delivery, or parenting, it can cut you to your core!  For the most part, an expectant couple is going to have very strong feelings about the choices they make regarding their child.  They may research, take cues from their healthcare provider, or even just follow their intuition.  However they came to their decision, they certainly don’t want others to judge or belittle them.
